Policy Changes that affects Developments

There are various policy changes that were instilled in Singapore in these recent years. The changes made are all logical and well thought for Singapore to develop faster as a country.
1. First there is the progressive wage model, This policy is just instilled in the cleaning industry of the business. The policy is workers being paid minimum wage at first and then get higher wages time by time. Skills are also affected in here. This helps the country sustain the economic growth by improving productivity in the country and business. This policy was introduced in 2012, and is still being done in some companies.
2. The second policy would be the increase of BTOs (build-to-order) buildings. This policy is to help the stability prices of buildings in the area to be affordable for the public. This policy is done by building about 32,000 units per year.
3. The reduction of salaries of the government was also done in 2012. The president's salary was cut 52 percent and the prime minister's salary was cut 36 percent. This change helps the country have more GDP than before. This policy was accepted and was not forced by any of the government, this is one of a good example of Singapore's government being a distinguished one.
